Montgomery
Late night, somewhere near Old Alabama Town in Montgomery
This part of town didn’t exactly feel empty. It felt like it had been left behind and just never caught up with everything around it.
Every block carried the same weight. Different corners, same feeling—like everything was still there, just not part of anything anymore.
The more I tried to organize the frame, the more that feeling grew. Not dramatic. Not dangerous. Just… out of place.
Nothing really explained it. It just stayed that way, no matter where I pointed the camera.
The Corner of Pollard St.
I stopped for the shadow. But the whole place felt like one—empty, abandoned, and somehow out of time. Like I was photographing a shadow in a place that had long been a shadow of itself.
